How the calculator works
A cubic yard is 3 feet by 3 feet by 3 feet, or 27 cubic feet. The calculator multiplies your three measurements and divides by 27.
The truck count divides the volume by 10 and by 14 cubic yards, HomeGuide's range for a dump truck, and rounds each up to a whole load.
