For excavation contractors

If your company does excavation work, it may already be listed here, built from your USDOT registration or from your Google Business Profile. Either one is yours to claim, and claiming is free. Claimed listings rank first in their county and are the first we pass quote requests to.

What claiming changes

An unclaimed listing shows what the registry holds and nothing else. A claimed one shows what you tell us, in your own words, and it goes to the top of your county.

Unclaimed

On the county list

  1. Your business name
    Your townGrading

On your own page

Federal record:
Your USDOT number, status, the year you registered and your fleet size.
Services:
Whichever of demolition, land clearing and grading the registry has flagged.

Claimed

    Your townGrading, Land clearing, Demolition

On your own page

Federal record:
The same registry facts, with your phone, address and town corrected by you.
From the owner:
A short description in your own words, shown as you wrote it.
Services:
The registry's flags, plus every other service you do.
Hours:
When you're open, day by day.
Photos:
Photos of your own work.
Website:
A link to your own site.

The rows above are the real county list, filled in with your listing rather than someone else's. How the order is worked out is on the methodology page.

A badge for your own website

Once you're verified, your dashboard gives you two badges and the code to paste into your own site. Each one links back to your listing here.

Yours carries the year you verified and the name of your county. Badges are built from a USDOT number, so a listing that came from a Google Business Profile doesn't have one yet.

Your listing is free and stays free. The other two are there if you want a site of your own and the first look at work in your county.

Find and claim your listing

Find your listing

Search by your USDOT number, or by name if your listing came from a Google Business Profile.

How we check it's yours

Where the listing comes from a USDOT registration, we send a code to the email address or phone number on that registration, so only the business can receive it.

Where it comes from a Google Business Profile there's no registration to send a code to. You tell us how you're connected to the business and we check it by hand.

Questions about claiming go to claims@leaderexcavation.com. What we do with your details is on the data policy page.
